REMINDER: Students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian if they are attending activities/games. Only HS students may attend games without a guardian.
The school grounds/gym are not open for ANY students watching an event until 30 minutes before a game.
After-School Bus Pickup Under the Bridge: Parents, please do not park alongside the new cones under the bridge in the afternoon. The buses do not have room to loop around. Mr. Gragg will be down there around 2:45pm should you have any questions. Thanks!!
Attention Sharks! Our Gold Out Pep Rally has been moved up to approximately 6:00pm. It will follow our Varsity Volleyball game vs. Spurger. Go Sharks!
REMINDER: Due to safety concerns students cannot walk passed the plant entrance at the bridge bus pick-up.
Students will only be able to go to cars that are even to, or behind, the front bus.
All cars arriving later will need to wait to pick up their students once the front bus leaves and more cars are allowed to enter the drop off area.
These procedures must be followed to ensure the safety of all our students.

Port Arthur LNG is having a rainout so they will be releasing their workers earlier today. We are going to let out about 10 minutes early to help everyone get a head start before the traffic backs up. Sorry for the late notice as we just became aware of the situation. Thanks!

Shark Reminders: Please make sure students are dropped off to the bridge by 7:30am. If not, the students might end up missing some valuable instruction time in 1st period. If there is inclement weather in the morning, we do understand it might be a little slow at the bridge. Please plan ahead if you are able to. Please do not drop off students before 7:30am as we will not have any staff members on duty, and the exterior doors will be locked. Thank you all for the help in this matter. As part of SPISD's continuing effort to make our campus as safe for students and staff as possible students will not be allowed to have or use any aerosol products. Any aerosol-based products will be confiscated by district personnel if found and continued violations of the policy will be considered a disciplinary matter.
To Middle School Football parents:
After school Middle School Football practice will begin Monday, August 22nd. Make sure any student wanting to participate has an up to date physical, as they are not able to take part until they do.
More information will be sent home with students later this week.
SPISD Meet the Teacher 2022-23 will be from 5PM-7PM this evening (8/15). All parents and students should enter through the HWY 87 entrance of the Main Building. Schedules and other information will be available for pick-up in front of the Cafeteria. Teachers will be stationed in their classrooms.
SPISD will host the 2022-23 Meet the Teacher Night tomorrow night, August 15th from 5PM-7PM. Parents and students will be able to meet with teachers in their rooms. We look forward to seeing you there.

High School Volleyball starts tomorrow (Monday, August 1st) from 8AM to 2PM. We will meet in the main gym. Wear workout attire and bring a lunch. You will need a 2022 physical to play. See you there!

A Sabine Pass ISD Safety and Security Committee Meeting will be held in the SPISD Board Room at 12PM on Wednesday, August 3rd. The meeting is not open to the public, but suggestions/comments can be submitted to district staff prior to the meeting for consideration.
High School UIL Academics Bootcamp will be tomorrow Wednesday, July 27th and Thursday the 28th from 1-4PM. Any 2022-23 9th-12th graders interested in UIL are welcome. We will start in room 205 (Ms. Bates) before going to work with individual coaches.
