Sabine Pass ISD will return to normal in-person instruction tomorrow, May 20th.
High School Awards program will be at 10:00am tomorrow. It will be live streamed and recorded for public viewing. All other awards ceremonies dates and times will be posted tomorrow for next week.
Due to the possible threat of flooding rains in our forecast, Sabine Pass ISD has opted to continue virtual/remote learning for Wednesday, May 19th. We will continue to monitor the local weather throughout tomorrow concerning the schedule for the rest of the week. Assignments will be posted to google classroom after 9:00am tomorrow morning. Due to possible inclement weather and poor road conditions tomorrow, Sabine Pass ISD will move to virtual learning for Tuesday, May 18th. Teachers will post assignments to google classroom for the students to complete. Please stay posted to the school website and social media for further updates.
All car rider students at the Academy (3rd, 4th, and 5th grades) will be picked up behind the school at our main pickup location at 1:10pm.
If your student is normally a car rider, we will still have car pickup at 1:10pm.
Due to inclement weather, Sabine Pass ISD will be releasing students for early release at 1:10 pm. We will have the buses at the bridge by 1:10pm. We apologize for the late notice as we try to navigate the best time to get students out safely..

Reminder that spring sports and class group pictures are tomorrow. Please make sure all students are in dress code. Students must be clean shaven and hair the correct length. Smile pretty!
STAAR UPDATE: As reported by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and various news outlets there were state-wide issues with the online STAAR test administration for today’s Grade 4 Writing, Grade 7 Writing, and English I EOC. Based on currently available guidance from TEA, Sabine Pass ISD has decided to reschedule these tests for the next scheduled make-up testing day Tuesday, April 13th. As of now, the online English II EOC is still scheduled to be administered on Thursday, April 8th. Please check the website for possible updates.
