Parent(s), as we are approaching the STAAR test, it is very important that our students are present at school and arrive on time. The teachers are getting into their STAAR review, and they will miss valuable information if not present. We know sicknesses come up and we completely understand, but we want to make sure the kiddos are able to maximize their learning. It will be fast and furious over the next few weeks, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel! It has been a really great year, and we want to finish strong!!
Reminder parents, Wednesday, April 3rd is a student holiday. We will be hosting the District UIL Academic Contest at SPS.
Due to the inclement weather, the district middle school track meet has been postponed. It is rescheduled for this Wednesday, March 27 at Hull-Daisetta.
8TH GRADE PARENTS, due to the large threat of inclement weather tomorrow, the 8th grade field trip to the Holocaust Museum in Houston has been postponed. The students will attend their regularly scheduled classes tomorrow. We are in contact with the museum to reschedule the trip. We will reach out to everyone once a date has been set. Parents, it is very important for our students to arrive at school on time. We have students arriving late for class which will result in a tardy or even an absence. Too many absences could result in a student having to make-up hours or even losing credit for a course. If you have student drivers, please make sure they are leaving with plenty of time to make it to school. We all know the traffic is slow, so they will have to account for that in their plans.
